Responsibilities

Build Relationships: Get to know clients, understand their needs, and offer tailored financial solutions

Drive Growth: Open and maintain accounts, assist with loan applications, and help clients navigate financial products like Certificates of Deposit (CDs) and Money Market Accounts

Assist with Loan Applications: Guide clients through the consumer loan initiation process smoothly and efficiently
Ensure Accuracy: Conduct cash and check transactions with integrity and precision when working behind the teller line
Educate & Protect: Clearly explain product benefits, compliance essentials, and security measures
Solve Problems: Address client concerns with professionalism and poise, even in stressful situations
Minimize Risk: Safeguard clients against fraud and ensure compliance with banking regulations

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a business setting
Minimum 1 year of cash-handling experience
Strong customer service skills, including active listening and clear communication
Experience recommending, selling, and referring financial products
Solid understanding of compliance and fraud detection
Ability to accurately balance a cash drawer
Proficiency with computers, data entry, and multi-line phone systems
Basic math and accounting skills
Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday
Ability to work occasional weekends and extended hours

Preferred

Teller experience preferred (6+ months)
Familiarity with consumer lending products
