Electro-Optical Controls Systems Engineer (Level IV) - TS clearance

The Electro-Optical Controls Systems Engineer will lead the development of advanced optical systems and conduct laboratory verification and field testing of precision pointing and tracking optics.

Responsibilities
Create, flow down, manage, and ensure traceability of requirements
Define and maintain system‑level interfaces
Drive and conduct design reviews
Produce clear technical artifacts such as specifications, ICDs, test plans, and interface control documents
Qualification
Required
BS (or higher) in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related discipline
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams through concept development, risk analysis, and/or milestone achievement
Active TS/SCI w/Poly clearance
Create, flow down, manage, and ensure traceability of requirements
Define and maintain system-level interfaces
Drive and conduct design reviews
Produce clear technical artifacts such as specifications, ICDs, test plans, and interface control documents
Preferred
Experience with Cameo or MBSE Modeling
Experience developing or working on optical payloads
Experience working on space or ground ISR systems
Experience with products that include Software and Circuitware Development and Integration
Experience defining system-level architecture
Experience defining Design Reference Missions (DRMs)
Experience in Class C/D, IRAD, or 'go-fast' development environment
Experience identifying risks and working with the team to set priorities and stay focused on the most important objectives related to burning down the risks
Experience leading or interfacing with medium to large subcontracts
Experience across full program lifecycles on large or small programs, from initial development through mission or test operations and use
