Precision Aviation Group (PAG) is a leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services in the aerospace and defense industries. The Detail Parts Inspector is responsible for performing precise measurements of turbine engine parts to ensure compliance with specifications and standards during the MRO process.

Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Read and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing life-limited, malfunctioning, or damaged components
Replace or repair worn, defective or damaged components using hand tools, gauges and testing equipment
Perform testing of PT6 model engines and components
Performing inspection of incoming parts, and final inspection of articles. Ensuring all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed before final approval for return to service of articles maintained or altered by Prime Turbines
Ensuring the Work Order packages contain the required documents and forms

Qualification

Precision measuring equipmentMechanical experienceReading technical documentsAviation industry experienceHand tools proficiency

Required

High School diploma or GED Equivalent
At least 2 years of related experience in Aviation or related field
Proficient in reading and understanding manufacturer's instructions, drawings, and technical documents
Mechanical experience in either the Aviation or Automotive Industry
Ability to use precision measuring equipment, i.e., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc
