Senior LevelToyota Tsusho America is seeking a Senior Investment Planning Specialist to join their Corporate Development and Investment group. This role is essential for driving growth through investment and M&A initiatives, collaborating with various divisions, and evaluating new investment projects for management approval.

Responsibilities
Conduct feasibility analysis on important investment projects of all group companies from financial / strategic standpoint
Build strong relationships with key corporate functions, such as finance, accounting, and legal
Support and understand deal execution activities, including due diligence, financial modeling and valuation analysis, and assist cross-functional deal teams
Coordinate investment decisions in accordance with Toyota Tsusho group’s policy (review all investment proposals for management approval.)
Support subsidiaries’ start up activities, such as guiding them to establish proper Control Process and Policy
Communicate with business divisions to provide suggestions, review notes and guide them to the correct approval process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting
Prior experience in financial analysis, FP&A, business valuation, budget control
Strong cost accounting and financial analysis skills
Experience with financial modeling
Requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Highly organized, displays strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
Familiar with A3 Report format or experience in creating A3 Report
Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Willingness to travel up to 25% of time
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & PowerPoint)
Ability to utilize Excel functions, such as VLOOKUP, Power Query, Macro is a must
Must possess excellent communication and writing skills
Preferred
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter holder or progress towards CFA preferred
Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
Experience in the automotive industry, renewable energy industry a plus
Knowledge of Japanese not required, but would be a positive
