KNAPP Technicians (Packaging)

Diamond Pharmacy Services is seeking a KNAPP Technician to enhance the services provided in their pharmacy areas. The technician will perform various packing duties and ensure the proper handling of medications and products.

Responsibilities

Requests another customer tote when needed
Short picks an order
Keeps bags and products down past the line in the tote so censors do not go off for height checks
Leaves card inserted into vision until all three lights are on
Disposes of empty product totes
Pushes button twice at end of every pick
Gives tote to Production Facilitator to call original tote if card is accidentally left behind
Print cards verses speed labels
Count the remaining quantity left, after using a bottle of pills, and write the correct amount on the bottle
Identifies hazardous medications, and packs them in the designated hazardous medications area
Takes product in totes to proper destination when finished with them
Looks over recipe of each script before packing and fills Opti-pack cards
Takes cart of finished product to proper destination when finished with them
Marks an "X" on any product opened
Does not cover lot and/or expiration on the bottle of medication
Processes colored bags in totes
Completes any pull from bin tasks
Hits facility complete button after every tote has been processed
Hits move next tote button while tote is setting on rollers and does not pull the tote
Sorts completed customer totes per zone
Hits perform tasks button when starting a new tote
Takes cart of finished product to proper destination when finished with them
Marks an "X" on any product opened
Uses bunny labels and colored bags as needed
Identifies spill items and uses spill bags as needed
Does not open product that has perforated or tamper seal
Butterflies the label to the product, and labels Opti-packs
Does not cover lot and/or expiration dates
Uses amber gabs for vials and injections
Requests an extra customer tote when needed
Folds bags over so they do not set off height check censor
