FTS, Inc. is seeking a Network Security Architect to design, implement, and evolve a modern, secure network architecture for their financial services client. The role focuses on cloud networking, zero trust principles, and micro-segmentation, requiring collaboration with various engineering teams to enhance security.

Responsibilities

Design and own network security architecture across hybrid and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Lead the strategy and implementation of micro-segmentation to limit lateral movement and enforce least-privilege access

Define and implement zero trust network principles , including secure connectivity between applications, services, and users

Architect secure cloud networking patterns (VPC/VNet design, routing, firewalls, private connectivity)

Partner with cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to embed security into new designs and migrations

Evaluate, select, and optimize network security tools and platforms (firewalls, segmentation, NDR, SDN)

Develop architecture standards, reference designs, and technical documentation

Ensure solutions align with financial services regulatory and compliance requirements

Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams
