Senior Manager, Organizational Effectiveness & Strategic Operations
Black Cultural Zone is seeking a Senior Manager, Organizational Effectiveness & Strategic Operations to serve as a critical operational lead and liaison. This role focuses on driving organizational effectiveness and continuous improvement across the Centers of Excellence Network, combining strategic project leadership with tactical execution and process auditing.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between Centers of Excellence Network entities across all four pathways (Strategy, Operations, Culture/Arts, Real Estate). You will translate strategic direction into operational language and surface operational realities to inform decision-making
Lead the design and implementation of integrated processes for inventory management, fulfillment, and logistics to efficiently support all sales channels. This includes designing SOPs, implementing systems, and coordinating the hiring and training of warehouse staff
Design program structures, eligibility criteria, and curriculum for Associates and Mentorship Programs, providing training and support for mentors
Collaborate with program teams to implement and develop systems in critical areas: Documentation Systems, Impact Reporting, Data Collection, and Evaluation Frameworks
Conduct systematic observation and auditing of organizational processes to identify bottlenecks and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
Supervise and provide leadership to the Facilities Manager, including performance management, professional development, and strategic guidance
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field is required
A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in operations management, project management, organizational development, or a related role within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
Deep knowledge of organizational effectiveness, process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), and change management is required
Strong understanding of nonprofit governance, compliance, and grant management is also necessary
Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and supervising and developing staff
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Smartsheet, project management software, and data visualization tools is required
Preferred
A Master's degree is preferred (and may substitute for two years of experience)
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification (or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire)
