Responsibilities

Work as part of a small team to develop communications strategies which support enterprise goals, and the priorities of the People Team (HR), based around clear outcomes, with specific tactics and success metrics
Build outstanding written communications including key messages, talking points, FAQs and other collateral
Participate in discussions with colleagues to establish a perspective on issues relevant to the reputation of the firm
Bring creativity and excellence to your work and inspire the same in other members of the team
Bring structure and discipline to all communication programs that originate from the People Team, including driving upward and downward visibility into work in the space and curating a positive employee experience
Partner with individuals throughout communications and other organizations within BNY

Required

Bachelor's / Master's degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or a related field
12-15 plus years of proven experience in communication roles, with a focus on internal communication
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity
Proficiency in utilizing various communication tools and platforms
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills across geographies
Open communicator who can reach out to multiple stakeholders across hierarchy

Preferred

Familiarity with digital communications tools, trends and best practices
Proven track record of being a part of successful communication campaigns in a corporate environment
Understanding of financial services industry is a plus
