New Grad, Entry LevelPACS is a healthcare organization focused on revolutionizing leadership and quality care. The Jr Accountant will assist the accounting department with daily and monthly tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reports and supporting various accounting functions.

Responsibilities
Review expense and credit card reimbursement reports for accuracy and alignment with company policy for appropriate expense and coding designations
Review invoices for miscodes and correct
Apply consistent and impartial set of guidelines to expenses and invoices
Prepare internal schedules needed for account reconciliations; including accessing third party partners for data and reports necessary to prepare the reconciliation
Assist in document gathering and organization
Performs end-of-month procedures as required
May be asked to perform analytical processes or procedures
Preparation and posting of journal entries to accounting software
Operates standard office equipment to include: calculator, photocopy machine, facsimile machine, computer, printer and multi-line telephone
Performs other related duties as assigned
Maintain data privacy and confidentiality
Contribute to team success by achieving due dates and team goals
Qualification
Required
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED
Ideally should be enrolled in a secondary program leading to a bachelor's degree in accounting or similar degree program
Knowledge in clerical functions and computer literacy
Must have knowledge of office machines and equipment
Preferred
Proficiency in MS Excel
