Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing software partnerships via phone, email, and video
Vet inbound and outbound leads to ensure products meet AppSumo’s quality and customer-value standards
Structure and negotiate complex partnership agreements that benefit partners, customers, and AppSumo
Educate potential partners on how to successfully launch and scale on the AppSumo marketplace
Build and maintain long-term relationships with founders and key stakeholders
Collaborate closely with the BDA team to ensure deal quality and pipeline health
Oversee campaign success from onboarding through launch, including coordination around integration and implementation
Use HubSpot to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and maintain accurate deal data
Contribute to campaigns, events, and strategic initiatives that support company goals
Become a trusted expert on the AppSumo marketplace and articulate its value to a wide range of software founders
Consistently meet or exceed demo, revenue, and partnership targets while managing your own pipeline

Required

3+ years as an Account Executive or similar role closing deals in the SaaS, PaaS, and/or enterprise software space
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Strong skills in prospecting, cold outreach, negotiating, and closing
Experience managing a full-cycle sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting
Familiarity with HubSpot, booking platforms, and project management tools
Strong collaboration and relationship management skills
A user-centric mentality with a genuine passion for entrepreneurship and startups
Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable operating in a results-focused environment
Driven and have consistently met/exceeded direct sales goals
