Responsibilities
Programming experience in ABAP, ABAP-OO, SAPUI5, SQL and Native SQL
Able to follow and build on development standards in S/4
Good understanding of building integrations using IDOCs/BAPI/API
Troubleshooting/Debugging experience and ability to provide/propose wholistic solutions
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and designs for new applications and enhancements
Write, test, and deploy custom ABAP code for reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements
Optimize ABAP programs for performance and efficiency, especially in the HANA environment
Implement solutions using S/4HANA specific technologies such as ABAP for HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData
Develop interfaces and integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems
Provide technical support, fix bugs, and maintain existing applications
Create test plans and scripts, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality deliverables
Strong ABAP programming skills for both ECC and S/4 HANA
Expertise in ABAP for HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and Odata
Proficient in reports, forms, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and workflows (RICEFW)
Solid understanding of core SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI/CO, PP) and their interrelationships
Several years of hands-on ABAP development, with specific experience in S/4HANA, is often required. A full-cycle S/4HANA implementation is often a plus
Experience with integration tools like SAP PI/PO or CPI can be beneficial
Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 and its integration with ABAP developments is an added advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
Good communication and teamwork skills are necessary for effective collaboration
Qualification
