Responsibilities

Define end-to-end architecture for migration from on-prem Guidewire v10 to Guidewire Cloud

Assess current on-prem implementation and design cloud-ready solutions for configuration, integration, and data migration

Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Configuration Leads, and Integration teams to ensure alignment with Guidewire best practices

Provide technical leadership and guidance on remediation and optimization backlog items for cloud upgrade

Establish DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for Guidewire Cloud deployments

Ensure compliance with Guidewire Cloud standards, security, and performance benchmarks

Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and provide mentorship to technical teams

Act as a primary liaison with Guidewire for architecture-related discussions and approvals

Support risk assessment, dependency management, and mitigation strategies for migration

Required

Deep expertise in Guidewire architecture (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) including configuration, integration, and data model

Strong experience in Guidewire Cloud platform, SaaS architecture, and migration strategies

Hands-on knowledge of Guidewire Upgrade process from on-prem v10 to Guidewire Cloud

Proficiency in Integration design (Messaging, Batch, Plugins, REST APIs, GOSU)

Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud tools (Cloud Console, DevOps pipelines, CI/CD)

Strong understanding of P&C Insurance domain and business processes

Knowledge of data migration strategies, performance tuning, and security compliance in cloud environments

Agile delivery experience and ability to work across distributed teams

Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present to CxO-level stakeholders

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with a 'get-the-job-done' attitude

Ability to manage changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

Stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement mindset

BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

Preferred

Experience with APD (Advanced Product Designer) and Rating is a plus
