Responsibilities

Design and analyze mechanical components for flight‑critical electronic hardware
Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate mechanical and electronic subsystems
Conduct tolerance analysis, stress testing, and validation of hardware assemblies
Generate detailed CAD models and engineering drawings that meet aerospace standards
Support prototype build, test, and troubleshooting activities

Required

Proven experience in mechanical design for aerospace or defense hardware
Ability to deliver robust mechanical solutions for mission-critical hardware
Experience in designing and analyzing mechanical components for flight-critical electronic hardware
Collaboration skills with electrical engineers to integrate mechanical and electronic subsystems
Conduct tolerance analysis, stress testing, and validation of hardware assemblies
Generate detailed CAD models and engineering drawings that meet aerospace standards
Support prototype build, test, and troubleshooting activities
Must be a U.S. citizen
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Preferred

Aerospace Electronic Product Development Experience
Experience in Cadence schematic capture, PCB layout Cadence Allegro
Experience maintaining electronic hardware library (Cadence)
Experience designing mechanical aspects of aerospace electronic components (CATIA Preferred)
Experience estimating
Familiarity with LM Aero processes, procedures, and tools
Functions well in a creative, high-tempo, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment
