Responsibilities

Daily Direction Setting to technical maintenance staff, defining priorities and tracking execution
Implementation, execution and continuous improvement of maintenance strategy and plan to support site operation and avoid business interruptions
Ensure Maintenance Management Systems are being properly utilized and develop maintenance effectiveness program
Responsible for developing budgets, controlling costs and approve contracts to deliver plant commitments
Oversees the functioning of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management
Ensure critical systems are following local regulations and L’Oreal corporate requirements
Ensures building operations comply with all local zoning laws and regulations
Participate in the design, planning, construction and maintenance of company facilities, utilities systems and processing equipment
Oversee facility & utilities and processing capital projects as needed
Oversees contractors involved in facility projects and maintenance activities, following all L’Oreal Safety and Quality requirements
Support and lead the L'Oreal safety, health, and environmental programs of L'Oreal USA
Train, coach, and develop the technical staff
Manage, assist, or effect the procurement of new equipment or spare parts
Maintain an effective labor/employee relations environment
Develop, implement, and oversee all necessary record systems
Manage, implement, and support all L'Oreal policies including, but not limited to, the Corporation's Equal Employment Opportunity policy
Perform other duties as necessary or required

Required

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or relevant experience in the field
10 Years of experience in technical capacity involving comparable equipment and systems
Knowledge and ability to conceptualize and develop in areas of tooling, product handling equipment, production machinery and operational methods
Solid technical experience in core mechanical, electrical, and electronic field
Work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Demonstrate excellent people management skills including the ability to develop a team of individuals capable of producing extraordinary results
Demonstrate the L'Oreal competencies including but not limited to creative problem solving, decision making, achievement orientation, cultivation of talent and strong communication skills
