The role involves supporting the design and development of mechanical components, creating precise models and documentation to guide manufacturing and product development.

Responsibilities
Develop and revise accurate 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD software
Collaborate closely with engineers to convert design concepts and technical specifications into practical, manufacturable solutions
Ensure all designs meet company standards, engineering best practices, and applicable industry regulations
Maintain organized documentation and version control of design files within the company’s data management and ERP systems
Support product improvement initiatives and cross-functional design reviews as needed
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related field
5+ years of experience in mechanical CAD design within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Proficiency with CAD software—Autodesk Inventor preferred
Experience working within ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, or similar)
Strong understanding of GD&T, materials, and manufacturing processes
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
Preferred
Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, or similar platforms
