Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and engineering managers
Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance
Provide regular feedback, coaching, and career development support
Set and communicate technical vision and strategy for the team
Oversee architectural decisions and ensure alignment with organizational goals
Drive adoption of best practices in software engineering, reliability, and scalability
Own delivery of key projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and stakeholder alignment
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams
Manage resources, budgets, and prioritization
Act as a key point of contact for senior leadership, product partners, and other stakeholders
Present technical and business updates to executive audiences
Influence and drive consensus across diverse groups

Required

Successful track record leading and coaching direct line managers
Proven experience leading engineering teams, ideally in a high-scale, high-impact environment
Deep technical expertise in relevant domains (e.g., distributed systems, personalization)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving
Experience with scaling teams and systems and leading change management

Preferred

Experience working in a global, distributed environment
Track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects for major consumer facing apps
