Responsibilities
Lead overall production planning for the site
Drive planning and material flow to support production requirements
Train new hires in material transactions, shipping processes, and receiving procedures
Monitor inventory levels and provide production status updates to management
Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant movement of goods
Monitor purchase price variance and inventory turns using financial reports
Track and report on-time delivery from suppliers and to customers, including site-level KPIs
Perform spend analysis, material assessments, and historical trend analysis
Audit supply chain processes, tools, and performance to ensure compliance or identify improvement needs
Serve as supply chain lead for internal and external audits related to supply chain policies and procedures
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to capture, document, and adjust forecasts based on market changes, new product launches, large projects, and analytics
Support financial activities such as check deposits
Set project timeframes and priorities, with effective tracking and management of progress
Qualification
Required
BA in business or equivalent work experience
3 to 5 years relevant experience in supply chain management
Knowledge of warehouse management operations and inventory control methods in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work effectively with little direct supervision
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy under tight time deadlines
Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external partners
Experience with PDM/PLM and ERP systems
