Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional client service and account/project management
Facilitate and develop strategic plans/programs, including, but not limited to, press materials, media campaigns, and strategic partnerships
Lead specific media efforts focused on fostering impactful editorial relationships and generating significant media coverage
Demonstrate the ability to adeptly execute a full range of written materials, including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, status reports, and more
Oversee client projects (including events, launches, and media programs) from concept to execution—managing budgets, timelines, status updates, reporting, and junior staff, as needed
Bring industry/category contacts to the table, where appropriate
Communicate new and significant ideas to keep our clients relevant in the industry, from press pitches to contributing strategic thinking for campaigns
Serve as client point-of-contact on assigned accounts, coordinating multiple projects
Manage the work of AEs, AAEs, ACs, and interns
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in public relations, journalism, business communications, or related field
4+ years' agency experience in the lifestyle, real estate, health and wellness industries, non profit
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with national, state, and local media with a proven track record in securing press coverage
Already possessing established media contacts and relationships, while continuing to build new ones
Ability to work well with team members and take direction in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and detail-oriented
Deliver work on time without sacrificing quality
Creative professional with an energetic personality
