Responsibilities

You will serve as the SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the JOINT FORCES HEADQUATER’S-CYBERSPACE (JFHQ-C), OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE, of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDER, U.S. FLEET CYBER COMMAND at Fort Meade, MD
You will be designated as the Deputy Chief of Fires, serving in the Fires and Targeting Branch responsible for supervising, leading, and providing portfolio management over all JFHQ-C (Navy) fires support control measures, tasks and functions
You will plan, develop, and coordinate cyberspace fires to support Combatant Commanders operational objectives and imperatives
You will supervise, lead, manage and provide portfolio management over all JFHQ-C fires support control measures, tasks, and functions
You will manage a team of military and civilian personnel to coordinate requirements across commands
You will advise cyber and fires planners and targeting officers on how to integrate joint staff community standards and processes into CO (cyber operation) fires and targeting requirements
You will lead a team in coordinating, synchronizing, and deconflicting CO fires and effects, and target developments efforts per the Commander’s requirements, objective, and exercises
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates and set short-term and long-term priorities and schedules
You will advocate for the implementation of refinements and innovative approaches necessary to maintain and provide expert and comprehensive support in dealing with rapidly evolving cyber challenges

Required

This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 332, proficiency level Advanced the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required
You must successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph with No Deception Indicated (NDI)
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101
Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position
Experience creating documentation of techniques, tactic procedures (TTPS), processes, and operating instructions
Experience providing recommendations and justifications for optimizing fires and targeting operations and investments to achieve mission objectives
Experience selecting, adapting and applying policies and procedures to include coordinating staff and materials to support fires and targeting operations
Experience briefing senior leaders on cyber operation assessments and deficiencies recommending procedural improvements to maximize operational effectiveness
