MACOM designs and manufactures semiconductor products for various applications. The RF Electrical Engineering Intern will work alongside experienced engineers to learn and perform DC and RF measurements, gaining hands-on experience in an engineering test laboratory.

Responsibilities

Characterize new products as part of our NPI process flow

Perform DC and RF measurements

Operate and perform test set-ups using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, peak power analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, pulse generators, power supplies, power meters, SMU’s, and multi-meters

Be given an individual and well-defined test projects and clear goals

Gain hands-on test experience in an engineering test laboratory

Receive excellent training and ongoing supervision

Be invited to attend an intern webinar series

Attend networking/social events

Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls

Receive formal, written feedback
