Responsibilities

Supporting the management of Oracle databases & Exadata Infrastructure (Prod & Non-Prod)

Performing complex issue investigation

Capacity management

Automation

Scripting

Seeking software development automation opportunities

Triage database alerts and issues

Identify root causes

Implement corrective solutions

Managing, maintaining, and supporting Non-production, and Production Standby databases

Mentoring of the team

Facilitating communications with leadership, clients, and peers

Developing standardization, policies, and best practices

Documentation

Knowledge transfers

Automation

Develop, mature, and grow the technical aspect of the program

Ensure stability and scalability to the client

Part of the OHAI roadmap projects

Migrating the Database to Oracle Cloud and Autonomous Databases

Required

At least 10+ years of experience as Oracle DBA, Site Reliability Engineer, or Oracle Database Architect

10+ years of experience managing scalable, on-prim and cloud native distributed systems

Bachelor's degree/master's degree (Information Technology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Computer Software/Electronics/Operational Research/Computer System Engineering)

Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

Strong grasp of Computer Science concepts

Knowledge in PL/SQL, Python, Perl and/or Shell Scripting

Managing production databases running on Exadata
