Responsibilities
Providing on-site support for SSW products
Establishing a proactive daily presence in production areas
Building relationships with Operations customers
Attending Operations agenda meetings
Assisting with resolution of work package issues
Assessing build status relative to schedule
Supporting construction readiness efforts
Developing Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plans (RAMPs) for first of kind evolutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering
0-5 years of post-graduate engineering experience
Experience with SSW Design
Previous experience with the design, development, construction, and/or operation of submarine systems, component, or structures
The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense secret clearance
Preferred
Experience with troubleshooting and technical problem solving
Experience with task or project management
Knowledge of Teamcenter and Electronic Desktop applications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, & Word
Candidate must be able to take initiative and work independently
Candidate must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Candidate must be highly motivated and able to perform independently, as well as interact with other groups and organizations in a team environment
This position requires physical interfacing in manufacturing shops and on submarine modules, including climbing and accessing confined spaces
