Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand application requirements
Identify, document, and track software defects
Create and maintain test plans and test cases
Ensure best practices in test automation and continuous integration (CI/CD)
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members
Participate in sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies
Qualification
Required
Playwright Framework Expertise
Writing and maintaining automated test scripts
Cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, WebKit)
Handling dynamic content, SPAs, and real-time interactions
Smart waiting and parallel test execution
Programming Languages
JavaScript / TypeScript (preferred for Playwright)
Testing Frameworks
Mocha, Jest, Jasmine, or similar for structuring tests
Experience with assertions, mocking, and test lifecycle hooks
CI/CD Integration
Integrating Playwright tests into pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc
Version Control
Proficiency with Git for source code management
API Testing
Using Playwright for backend validation and REST API testing
Debugging & Reporting
Utilizing Playwright's built-in debugging tools
Generating and analyzing test reports
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand application requirements
Identify, document, and track software defects
Create and maintain test plans and test cases
Ensure best practices in test automation and continuous integration (CI/CD)
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members
Participate in sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies
