Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues within the datacenter

Install and maintain data center server hardware, including storage blocks, servers, patch panels, switches, routers, and other large scale networking gear

Familiarity with Linux command line to assist with troubleshooting and configuration

Participate in on-call rotation to get to the datacenter during off hours

Available for shift work

Participate in disaster recovery mock drills and procedures

Provide cleared escort as needed to personnel who need access for maintenance, inspection, and other needs

8+ years of related experience

US Citizenship Required

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline

3 years of experience in working with computer systems and computer networks, specifically with the Linux operating system

Ability to do physical work (lift servers, network switches, boxes etc.)

Any 8140 certification, or must be willing to obtain and maintain

Computer Networking, Data Center, Troubleshooting skills

Preferred

Experience with field-based work in POPs and datacenters

Experience in troubleshooting OS, network equipment, and software

Experience troubleshooting hardware or network related issues using Linux-based tools

Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with active polygraph
