Responsibilities
Perform physical and chemical testing on products to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
Make accept/reject decision on incoming raw materials and pre-shipment finished good samples
Possess a high degree of analytical and instrumentation training, and ability to make independent judgment
Interact with other departments to communicate testing results
Conduct routine sampling and auditing of packaging materials and raw ingredients for quality and specification adherence. Initiate corrective actions as needed
Maintain and update testing procedures in alignment with industry best practices
Input and manage test results in the Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS) accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, following all laboratory safety protocols
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Possess a high degree of analytical and instrumentation training, and ability to make independent judgment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
Preferred
Degree in Science, Food or related field is strongly preferred
One to three years of experience in quality control, laboratory testing, or a related role within a manufacturing or food production environment is strongly preferred
Familiarity with laboratory testing techniques, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory requirements is preferred
