Responsibilities

Responsible for Customer PPAP, certifications, product measurement and testing

Facilitate effective corrective actions internally and externally. Includes working with internal personnel as well as customers, suppliers, etc

Investigate and determine root causes for internal and external rejections, implement preventive corrective actions

Manage internal audit program and conduct internal audits to support the QMS

Effectively develop and lead cross-functional process improvement teams

Initiate internal continuous improvement quality projects. Includes identifying needs and managing CI process

Support third party quality audits

Develop quality procedures to maintain controls of processes

Transfer best practices, techniques, procedures and tools to peers and other process improvement teams

Continue to develop core tool knowledge of quality management by obtaining additional training and certifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical field

3+ years of quality and manufacturing experience

2+ years of experience with ISO and/or IATF certification or equivalent

Preferred

5+ years of quality and manufacturing experience

Ability to apply Six Sigma tools and principles such as Process Capability, Gage RR, Design of Experiments, and DMAIC in a manufacturing setting

ISO 9001 2015 Certified Auditor

Experience facilitating 8D analysis and implementing corrective actions

Experience with WINSPC or other data collection programs
