Responsibilities
Identify laboratory materials and supplies required for experiments and initiate orders via myMarketplace
Conduct experiments in the lab including Cell cultures and biochemical assays
Discuss data and other matters with the PI and participate in laboratory meetings
Analyze and document data relating to above experiments for discussion with PI and readiness for publication; contribute to writing of manuscripts on data generated
General lab maintenance, including cleaning laboratory instruments and equipment and organizing and maintaining lab storage, samples and specimens while following all health and safety regulations
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of experience; a master's degree and two or more years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Experience in a research environment including the ability to follow research protocols and record research data, etc
Ability to prioritize based on deadlines
Effective and proven communication skills
