Responsibilities

Identify key decision-makers and develop professional relationships via phone calls, emails, and face-to-face customer visits
Meet metric expectations as defined by management
Analyze customer shipping needs, negotiate rates, identify pain points, and provide effective supply chain solutions
Utilize our vast portfolio of services to develop customized solutions based on customer needs
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through constant communication, ensuring both day-to-day and long-term needs are met
Ensure customer commitments are met by working closely with internal teams and executing operational tasks as needed
Demonstrate the ability to multitask and work effectively outside of a traditional office environment while maintaining business flow
Participate in the planning and strategy for the long-term growth and success of the department
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide solutions that add value and efficiencies within the customer’s supply chain
Promote and display Cornerstone’s Core Values: Integrity, Honesty, Respect, Loyalty, and Never Satisfied
Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

Required

Strong desire to succeed in sales and build customer relationships

Effective oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Maintain regular and reliable attendance

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or related field
Previous sales experience within the transportation or logistics industry
