The role involves leading innovative projects, developing fellowship applications, and participating in seminars and conferences while supporting the career development of lab trainees.

Responsibilities

Assume a leadership position within the lab as a Postdoctoral Associate

Set the tone for both scientific and scholarly excellence

Drive forward complex, innovative, and impactful projects

Develop and write fellowship applications

Participate in a variety of group and departmental seminars and journal club series, as well as national and international conferences

Gain critical experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic group environment

Dr. Liu is fully committed to supporting the career development of all his trainees with opportunities both in and outside of the lab and substantiative one-on-one interactions

The candidate must have a Ph.D. (or MD/PhD) in biological sciences such as molecular biology, cell biology, cancer biology, or biochemistry, with a strong international publication record
