Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Communications & Contract Management Intern for the Kentucky APEX Accelerator. The role involves assisting with various projects to promote economic development across Kentucky while gaining valuable real-world experience in a nonprofit environment.

Assist with a range of projects related to internal and external communication, marketing, financials, and contract management

Required

Current undergraduate upperclassman (junior/senior) OR current graduate student
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and editing
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to think critically and check for accuracy
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word and Excel), Google suite, and social media platforms

Preferred

Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) like Wix
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Familiarity with graphic design, experience using Canva and/or Adobe programs
Accounting, finance, business administration, marketing, communications, English, and political science majors preferred
