Mid LevelCommunity Mental Health for Central Michigan is seeking an INT OBRA Assessor to provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals in nursing homes. The role involves direct observation, interviewing, and evaluating individuals to make recommendations for mental health treatment and programs.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments to persons seeking or residing in a nursing home for OBRA Mental Health Assessments
Directly observe, interview, and evaluate referred individuals in community settings with recommendations to the Agency and/or nursing home staff for Mental Health treatment and programs designed to enhance an individual's lifestyle
Completes timely comprehensive Psychosocial assessments and communications required while adhering to Agency policies, procedures, and OBRA requirements
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree is required with a major in Social Work, Counseling or Clinical/Counseling Psychology
Sufficient experience to perform the position at a satisfactory level required
Michigan state licensure
Valid driver's license while operating vehicle on agency business
Preferred
Experience with relevant population in a community mental health setting preferred
