Responsibilities
Prepare proposals, quotes, and technical documentation in collaboration with application engineers
Collaborate with clients to negotiate terms and successfully close sales agreements
Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients to promote trust, satisfaction, and long-term loyalty
Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to close and post-sale follow-up
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design and execute creative outreach programs that generate and grow the sales pipeline within your assigned territory
Maintain accurate pipeline data and activity reports to management
Develop in-depth knowledge of products and services, and their application to customer needs
Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as needed
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in monitoring and control systems, EMS, BMS, or HVAC controls
Experience creating accurate and competitive quotes based on specifications, drawings, and market rates
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with critical infrastructure operations (telecom sites, substations, data centers, etc.)
Knowledge of HVAC systems, AC/DC Power, UPSs, Generators, ATSs, DC Plants, Switchgear, Fuel Tanks, and Electrical Panels
Knowledge of protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, or other communication protocols
