Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science
The University of Minnesota is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in original research, teach courses, and advise students while contributing to departmental governance.

Carry out a vigorous program of original research at a world-class level
Advise graduate students
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science (CEMS)
Participate in Departmental and University governance
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in any area related to chemical engineering and materials science, including biology, chemistry, physics, and other related engineering disciplines
Outstanding academic and research record
Commitment to teaching in a highly interdisciplinary department
