They are seeking a Transfer Clerk who will be responsible for the movement and preparation of materials and finished products for transfer, as well as maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Movement & preparation of all materials and finished product for transfer

Prepare finished product for warehouse

Housekeeping and organization of facility

Recordkeeping as required (BOL,Pic List)

Operate all material handling equipment

Operate hand scanners to move all product

Maintain and improve a safe working environment

Backup Material handler and Shipping & Receiving when needed

Understand each product and how it’s loaded onto a trailer

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Forklift experienceShipping experienceRecordkeepingMaterial handling equipmentPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Required

High school diploma or GED

Forklift experience required

Must always use correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the job

Must have good vision and hearing

Must be able to lift 55-60 lbs. at continuous intervals throughout the day

Must have normal dexterity

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Requires frequent bending, squatting and twisting motions; ability to climb ladders

Ability to pull finished product and 1000 lb. gaylords of material using pallet jack

Maintain clean & safe work area clear of obstacles and/or scrap product, tools, etc

Movement & preparation of all materials and finished product for transfer

Prepare finished product for warehouse

Housekeeping and organization of facility

Recordkeeping as required (BOL, Pic List)

Operate all material handling equipment

Operate hand scanners to move all product

Maintain and improve a safe working environment

Preferred

Minimum 1 year of shipping experience preferred

All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
