Legal Word Processor
LHH is seeking a detail-driven professional to join their team as a Legal Word Processor or Legal Assistant. This role involves supporting transactional attorneys by preparing legal documents, implementing automation solutions, and maintaining document accuracy.
Responsibilities
Prepare and format transactional legal documents (loan agreements, closing binders, financing documents)
Build and maintain automated templates in Microsoft Word
Partner with attorneys and staff to implement document automation solutions
Proofread for accuracy and troubleshoot formatting issues
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with security standards
Qualification
Required
Experience in a legal setting, ideally real estate finance or transactional law
Advanced Microsoft Word skills (track changes, templates, complex formatting)
Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
Preferred
Familiarity with automation tools like Contract Express or HotDocs
Knowledge of document management systems (NetDocuments preferred)
