Responsibilities

Driving sales and services to new and existing customers in the Care Continuum
Maximizing customer value and satisfaction by aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives
Building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers or potential influencers
Managing a longer sales cycle
Demonstrating advanced knowledge of BD and customer industry, including key competitors, terminology, technology, trends, challenges, reimbursement and government regulation
Serving as a leader in maintaining balance in all areas of the pipeline
Creating and executing an opportunity plan independently which drives consistent results
Utilizing all resources available within own business unit and frequently involving other business units in executing the Solution Sales Process
Applying knowledge of the customer's business to develop optimal solutions
Proactively demonstrating to the customer the defined value of partnering with BD both pre- and post-sales
Effectively negotiating and collaborating with the customer and colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes
Building and sustaining relationships founded on trust with internal and external customers
Identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities and developing plans for introducing new solutions through collaborative relationships

Required

2-3 years successful medical equipment sales (capital is preferred)
Pharmacy, IT, Nursing, C-suite call point
Ability to manage a long sales cycle
Travel up to 50% of the time
Valid driver's license
