Responsibilities
Lead all EDI workstreams for the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation, including design, mapping, testing, partner certification, and cutover
Collaborate with system integrators, middleware providers (SAP CPI, TrueCommerce, DMEDI/Vantage Point, etc.), and business stakeholders to meet scope, quality, and timeline objectives
Own EDI integration plans, cutover readiness, defect resolution, and post-go-live stabilization
Configure, map, and support EDI transactions across Supply Chain, Finance, and Transportation (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 820, 940, 945, 210, 214)
Monitor and troubleshoot daily EDI flows to ensure uninterrupted business operations
Lead onboarding of new trading partners and manage ongoing mapping changes and upgrades
Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams to align EDI integrations with business processes
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and maintain partner documentation and runbooks
Act as the EDI subject matter expert during implementation and steady-state operations
Ensure compliance with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT), partner requirements, and audit controls (SOX, ITGC)
Implement data validation, exception handling, and traceability controls
Drive modernization through API-based and event-driven integrations
Improve monitoring, partner onboarding efficiency, and EDI visibility
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the long-term B2B integration roadmap
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent experience
10+ years of EDI experience, with deep expertise in Supply Chain and Finance transactions
Proven leadership of EDI workstreams in ERP implementations; SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT transaction sets
Hands-on experience with EDI middleware (SAP CPI, TrueCommerce, DMEDI/Vantage Point, Cleo, etc.)
Experience supporting retail, 3PL, and marketplace EDI partners
Solid troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and cutover/post-go-live support experience
Preferred
Experience with True Commerce/SAP middleware
API and REST integration experience a plus
