Senior Systems Engineer / Orbit Analyst

Auria Space is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with Orbital Analysis experience to provide expertise in the development of satellite operations solutions. Responsibilities

Configure ODTK and Astrogator to allow an operator to:
Perform orbit determination, ephemeris generation, orbital position uncertainty estimates, and collision avoidance analysis
Generate orbit maneuver plans for orbit maintenance and collision avoidance
Generate simulations to validate accuracy of various orbital simulations and orbit determination techniques
Different aspects of the development life cycle including requirements, design, documentation, testing, and deployment
Interacting with the prime contractor and government leads to ensure that all system and interface requirements are consistent and valid across the solution
Scripting for automation and integration of orbit analysis functions
Engage customers for product demonstrations and analysis products and the ability to effectively communicate results

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum 4-8 years of related experience
2+ years experience with requirements development
2+ years experience with test development
Experience with Agile software development
Automated test experience
Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Demonstrated experience with orbit determination and astrodynamics techniques and operations
Familiarity with standard astrodynamics tools including ODTK and STK/Astrogator
Exceptional analytical skills and problem solving skills
Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills
High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems
