Synertex LLC is seeking qualified candidates for a Human Resources Specialist (SME) role in support of a mission-critical program. The SME will provide expert-level HR support, including staffing, workforce planning, and personnel program development, in alignment with sponsor requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic HR guidance to program leadership on staffing, workforce planning, and employee relations
Support recruitment, screening, interviewing, and placement of cleared personnel
Ensure compliance with government HR policies, regulations, and procedures
Manage personnel actions including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and separations
Develop and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and training to support program execution
Collaborate with security teams to coordinate clearance processing and visit requests
Track HR metrics, develop reports, and advise leadership on trends or required actions
Serve as a subject matter expert for HR best practices within secure environments

Required

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
15+ years of progressive HR experience, including government/IC environments
Strong knowledge of HR regulations, compliance requirements, and personnel processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems

Preferred

Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)
Experience supporting Intelligence Community or DoD HR programs
Demonstrated expertise in policy development, workforce planning, and employee engagement
Proven ability to operate with discretion in sensitive and classified environments
