Responsibilities

Serve as a key analytical contact and resource for KIND cross-functional partners (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Category) and external partners, including brokers
Provide analytical support for business initiatives across Kroger divisions, banners, and formats
Leverage 84.51° data and Kroger reporting tools to support volume, promotional, and performance analysis
Become a power user of KIND internal systems (TradePro, Anaplan) and Kroger item and promotion systems
Proactively evaluate volume, trade spend, and forecast accuracy to identify and clearly explain drivers of performance swings
Support promotional planning and post-event analysis, including temporary price reductions, price investments, display activity, and funding optimization
Assist in the creation of clear, insight-driven presentation materials for internal leadership and Kroger customer meetings
You will spend your time approximately as follows:
Customer meeting support: 20%
Kroger reporting and 84.51° analysis: 20%
Volume forecasting, trade management, and promotional analysis: 30%
Internal KIND and broker meetings: 20%
Ad hoc sales and analytical support: 10%

Required

Demonstrated experience supporting the Kroger customer in an analytical, sales, or category capacity
Solid understanding of Kroger's operating model, including divisions, promotional cadence, and retail math
Working knowledge of trade promotion management and its impact on volume, margin, and customer profitability
Experience with SKU-level, weekly forecasting and promotional analysis
Proven, results-oriented mindset with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations
Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience
3–5 years of experience in CPG, with direct Kroger experience strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with 84.51° and syndicated data (e.g., Circana/IRI)
Experience working with trade systems such as TradePro or similar TPM platforms
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to apply financial and analytical concepts including margins, retail math, velocities, forecasts, and promotional ROI

Preferred

Direct Kroger experience is strongly preferred. Candidates without Kroger experience must have supported another large, complex national account and be able to clearly articulate how their experience translates to Kroger
