Responsibilities

Extend a web-based design system for mobile and responsive web use cases
Expand the system with components and interaction patterns that feel native to iOS
Audit the existing design system for mobile readiness and scalability
Conduct light research with partner teams and external sources to inform best practices
Lead the design, feedback, iteration, and launch of mobile variants
Create clear, detailed design specifications for engineering handoff
Document mobile updates for designers and engineers using the system
Collaborate closely with designers and engineers to deliver scalable, stable solutions
Build accessibility and inclusion into the design process from the start
Maintain and evolve the Figma component library based on user feedback
Engage with the design community through office hours, Slack support, and operational programs

Qualification

Design systems experienceResponsive web designFigma proficiencyNative iOS designNative Android designReact Native componentsCommunicationCollaboration skills

Required

4+ years of hands-on design system experience, typically in addition to extensive product design experience
Strong experience designing responsive web experiences; native iOS experience preferred
Proven ownership of a design system in Figma
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions

Preferred

Experience designing native Android and React Native components
10+ years designing enterprise products using large-scale design systems
