Responsibilities

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with youth, parents, referral and funding sources, siblings and/or extended safety nets
Provide individual and family therapy in accordance with the program, Department of Youth Services (DYS), Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC) and Eliot policies and procedures
Manage the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans
Supervise case management and advocacy for youth
Have knowledge of resources in each community in which youth live
Attend administrative, staff, and shift change meetings, and facilitate clinical and community meetings

Qualification

Licensed as LICSW/LMFT/LMHC/LCSWDialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)Crisis Prevention InterventionAdolescentsWork with diverse populations

Required

Licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW
At least three years direct experience with the population
Knowledge and experience with clinical issues of children and adolescents and working knowledge of DBT and substance use/substance use disorder
Ability to develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with residents, staff, co-workers, and supervisors
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultures
Ability to physically carry out Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques
