Responsibilities

Review and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies
Verify that receivers, purchase orders, and invoices match in quantity and price
Sending reports and working directly with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
Makes sure all discounts are taken on a timely basis
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Monitoring shared AP inbox
Review goods receipts reports regularly to identify missing invoices or receiving issues
Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
Organize digital invoice and support files for digital document imaging system
Assist in month-end closing activities
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information
Perform backup support, other clerical tasks, and ad hoc reporting as needed

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of one year of related experience or formal training
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks)
Effective written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational abilities
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Preferred

Associate's degree or relevant coursework in Accounting or Finance
Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Familiarity with three-way matching (invoice, purchase order, and receiving documentation)
