Senior Director, Global Strategic Sales Compensation
Sage is seeking a Senior Director Global Strategic Sales Compensation to lead the team responsible for designing and delivering sales compensation programs globally. This role ensures that compensation structures align directly with Sage’s go-to-market strategy, drive performance, and act as an enabler of sustainable growth.

Responsibilities
Lead global sales compensation design across all go-to-market functions, ensuring alignment with Sage’s commercial and growth strategies
Partner with GTM leadership, Sales, Finance, and HR to design compensation structures that are equitable, scalable, and performance-driven
Own the annual sales compensation planning cycle, including governance, approvals, rollout, and field enablement
Drive the ongoing transformation of compensation processes — streamlining commission workflows and reducing manual effort
Oversee deeper deployment and adoption of Sage’s incentive compensation management (ICM) software solution, embedding automation and reporting and insights capabilities
Provide leadership and coaching to the Compensation Design team, building strong capabilities in strategic design and operational delivery
Establish best practice frameworks, benchmarks, and data-driven insights to inform compensation decisions
Ensure compliance with regulatory, financial, and risk management standards across compensation design and administration
Partner with broader RTR P&P leadership team to drive RevOps Transformation agenda
Qualification
Required
Deep experience in SaaS
Strong record of being a strategic partner to business leaders
Demonstrated success leading transformation within the compensation design function
Ability to lead global sales compensation design across all go-to-market functions
Experience partnering with GTM leadership, Sales, Finance, and HR to design compensation structures
Ownership of the annual sales compensation planning cycle, including governance, approvals, rollout, and field enablement
Experience driving the ongoing transformation of compensation processes
Ability to oversee deeper deployment and adoption of incentive compensation management (ICM) software solution
Leadership and coaching skills to build strong capabilities in strategic design and operational delivery
Establishment of best practice frameworks, benchmarks, and data-driven insights to inform compensation decisions
Ensuring compliance with regulatory, financial, and risk management standards across compensation design and administration
Ability to partner with broader RTR P&P leadership team to drive RevOps Transformation agenda
