Responsibilities

Perform skilled infrastructure/structured cabling work in the installation, service and maintenance, repair and alteration of low voltage category cabling, fiber optic cabling, communications cabling, and other various low voltage cabling systems onsite for the client
Coordinate with other team members to ensure projects are being completed efficiently
Light travel if needed within the area

Qualification

Cabling installationTelecom systems experienceBICSI standards knowledgeFiber opticsA+ certificationCustomer serviceReliable transportationBlackbox experienceCommunication skills

Required

2+ years of experience installing, servicing, maintaining cabling (cat 5, cat 6) fiber, and copper
Ability to install, terminate, and test
Experience installing and servicing telecom, data, security, and wireless systems
Overall knowledge of BICSI standards (does not need the certification but a huge plus)
Associate degree or certification in technology
Excellent customer service and communication
Reliable transportation

Preferred

BISCI certification
A+ certification
Previous Blackbox experience
