Responsibilities

Disinfect/clean assigned areas as per the Environmental Services procedures developed to control the growth of microorganisms

Prepare patient rooms for new admissions by staging the room in an aesthetically pleasing way

Maintains cleaning cart(s), supplies and equipment evidence by properly stocking and restocking environmental services cart in a neat and orderly fashion

Remove trash/recycling/Confidential (HIPPIA) information and soiled linen from floors using utility cart. Replace sharps container in patient rooms, procedure rooms, and soiled utility rooms

Transport furniture, equipment, clean linen and supplies

Demonstrates the ability to operate and properly maintain all EVS tools and equipment needed to clean and disinfect the environment
