Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (Immunology - US Central Region)

Responsibilities

Growing and leveraging a wide and diverse external network including but not limited to thought leaders and market influencers to execute against and inform the evolution of brand strategy
Ensuring all contracted speakers can effectively and compliantly deliver compelling commercial presentations
Participating/leading advisory boards and other activities that enable the TLL to capture and report stakeholder insights related to key commercial questions from a diverse network
Managing Sobi commercial relationships with key professional organizations
Executing strategic congress plans
Development of and execution against region-specific stakeholder engagement plans
Pulling through marketing initiatives at the regional level
Effectiveness as a thought partner for regional sales leadership
Fostering and maintaining a wide internal network of collaborators including, but not limited to, Field Sales Leadership, Field Medical, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Commercial Experience Innovation & Operations
A TLL is expected to identify, profile, cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs and other influencers within the gout community. Following product approval, the TLL should be able to conduct substantial on-label business conversations at appropriate venues, in and outside the office setting
A TLL will be expected to be able to collect commercial insights that will inform brand strategy via a wide range of methods such as advisory boards, special projects, and professional networking
A TLL is expected to play a role in monitoring the compliance and effectiveness of speaker programs, and this person needs to be comfortable providing direct coaching and feedback as well as following all compliance training and SOPs
A TLL is expected to identify rising influencers and other market opportunities
A TLL will be expected to help plan and execute coordinated and strategic KOL engagements and executive encounters at local, regional, national and international congresses, conferences and other settings
A TLL will be expected to meaningfully contribute to annual brand planning, market development and other brand initiatives
A TLL will be expected to create, socialize and execute a business plan that is aligned with brand strategy and coordinated with cross-functional activities
A TLL will be expected to have professional and productive relationships with key internal partners such as field sales, field medical and market access. They will be expected to foster collaborative and efficient ways of working norms in accordance with relevant policies regarding cross-functional interactions

Required

Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech field sales, marketing, or medical roles, or clinical experience in a related therapeutic area
Minimum 5 years of Rheumatology experience and recent experience with infusible medicines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high emotional intelligence, enabling exceptional relationship-building
Proven ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects and competing priorities, and execute strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines
Strong organizational and project management skills, including planning, presentation, and effective communication tailored to various audiences
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing various software programs and platforms, including but not limited to PowerPoint, Teams, Veeva
Strong understanding of and demonstrated compliance with laws, regulations, and rules governing the pharmaceutical industry, including but not limited to FDA regulations and PhRMA Code
Willingness to travel ~75% domestically (limited international travel possible) and proximity to a major airport required
Valid driver's license necessary
