Responsibilities

Support Strategic Impact: You will play a key role in translating rich insights into powerful, customer-centric stories that drive merchandising strategies across assortment, pricing, promotions, and in-store experience, directly influencing Kroger's market leadership
Champion the Customer: Be an unwavering voice of the Kroger shopper, ensuring that recommendations and activation plans are grounded in a profound understanding of their needs, behaviors, and motivations
Innovate the Future of Retail: Stay at the forefront of customer and retail trends, technologies, and competitive intelligence, leveraging this knowledge to proactively identify and seize merchandising opportunities for Kroger

Required

Bachelor's degree required
1–3 years of relevant experience (e.g., consulting, consumer insights, retail strategy, consumer packaged goods)
Critical thinking skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow established processes
Basic analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or similar tools
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative team player with a willingness to take on responsibility and seek clarity
Self-motivated and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
