Senior Officer, Programs - Health Systems

Responsibilities

Assist with the development of project workplans, timelines, and deliverables, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment
Monitor progress against project plans, maintain project tracking tools, and flag delays or risks to the project management and team leads
Coordinate logistical and administrative needs for project activities, such as scheduling, communications, documentation, and follow-ups
Prepare and consolidate status updates and reports for internal use and/or donor requirements, collaborating across field and corporate teams as necessary
Draft and format components of project reports, proposals, or presentations in collaboration with technical leads and project stakeholders
Serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional coordination, ensuring consistent communication and documentation flow
Support project budget tracking, including purchase requests, invoice follow-up, and working with finance for reconciliation
Help facilitate project meetings, including drafting agendas, preparing materials, and documenting action items
Support the application of project management tools and templates to ensure standardization and compliance with internal procedures
Maintain updated records of project documentation, including contracts, deliverables, correspondence, and meeting notes
Work closely with country and/or corporate offices and implementation teams to collect and verify inputs for reports, proposals, and project updates

Required

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, International Development, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered
Typically, 5+ years of experience supporting project implementation in a nonprofit, humanitarian, or development context, including direct coordination responsibilities
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Solid understanding of the project life cycle and familiarity with project management methodologies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage cross-functional teams
Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana)
Ability to synthesize information, prepare clear documentation, and support compliance with donor requirements
Fluent in English; additional language skills are an asset
