Responsibilities

Prepares and processes designated trust operations payments and transactions
Provides assistance throughout the department as a back-up for various trust operations functions which may include processing and reconciliation of DTC and Fed trade settlements and verification of positions against trade confirmations, processing of securities (including mutual funds and safekeeping items, etc.), reorganization and corporate action processes, department balancing, statement generation and processing, SLG processing, Institutional and Corporate Trust fee processing and money market sweep processing
Trains regularly on each function managed by departmental staff to prepare to perform each role when needed
Balances, research and resolves trust accounting system issues
Retrieves and distributes departmental reports and compiles and prepares information as requested
Contributes, participates and communicates on projects and department support items as assigned
Keeps abreast of departmental issues through additional training with appropriate specialists when a process is revised
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of trust practices and procedures as is normally attained in three years of trust operations or related experience in a back-office environment

Expertise with trade settlement, dividend and interest payment and mutual fund processes
